Hi, I’m Areva Neely, the Founder and Director of You’re Worth More Pathways LLC.

For more than 5 years, I have supported young people through teaching, school counseling, academic intervention, college and career preparation, social-emotional learning, and individualized student support. Throughout my career, I have seen how easily students can feel discouraged when they do not fit into one traditional definition of success. I created You’re Worth More Pathways to remind students and families that there is more than one meaningful pathway to a successful future.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, a Master of Arts in School Counseling, a Master of Science in Educational Leadership, and a California Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Counseling. I am also completing a Doctor of Education in Organizational Change and Administration at California Baptist University.

My experience includes working as a teacher, school counselor, and School Intervention Counselor. I have supported students with academic planning, graduation preparation, college and career readiness, social-emotional development, individualized education needs, and major educational transitions.

You’re Worth More Pathways was also inspired by my personal connection to families who homeschool and my experience operating an educational support program during the COVID-19 pandemic. I recognized that many families need access to personalized planning, accountability, and professional educational guidance outside of a traditional school-counseling office.

Today, I specialize in supporting California homeschool families while welcoming students and families from public, private, and charter-school communities. My goal is not to choose a pathway for a student. My goal is to help each student understand their strengths, explore their options, and move forward with greater confidence, purpose, and direction.
